Ivo Andric adored Sokobanja and used to return for more than 30 years. He usually stayed at the hotel "Moravica" which still keeps a memory of him in the apartment 144, with the original furniture and the writer's personal belongings. In this apartment Andrić wrote "Bridge on the Drina".
